Privacy notice.

Who is responsible for your information
Northumbria Construct is responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is used. Until our domain email service is active, privacy enquiries can be made through the Contact us page.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address and any information you choose to include when you register an interest in the community or contact us about collaboration, events, research, innovation or professional engagement.
Our website host may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser type and access logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Why we use it
- To respond to questions and collaboration enquiries.
- To manage requests to join or hear from the Northumbria Construct community.
- To administer relevant professional activities and opportunities.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the website.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests when responding to enquiries and managing professional relationships that people reasonably expect us to pursue. Where you specifically ask to receive community information or updates, we rely on your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Where information is stored and shared
Community registration details are intended to be stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to authorised Northumbria Construct administrators. Website hosting and form-delivery providers may process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this applies, we will use providers that offer appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
How long we keep it
General enquiry records may be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Community registration details may be retained while you remain involved or wish to receive relevant information. We will remove or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, or earlier where an applicable request requires us to do so.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, or to object to its use. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Northumbria Construct does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. Essential functionality provided by the website host may operate without tracking you for advertising purposes. If this changes, this notice and the website’s consent controls will be updated first.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
